The Clock Doesn’t Stop & Either Does the Curtain

Sometimes, it’s just inevitable.  One gets sick, two, then three, then four. . . But, in truth & all reality, the show must go on.  It’s live theatre.  People pay & we give them what they pay for.  We learn to dance even if our body isn’t 100%!  We turn the on button on when we need it, dim it when possible, and turn it off once the curtain goes down.  It may seem surreal, but it does indeed happen.  Times like these really remind us dancers’, actors’, singers’, & performers’ to take care of ourselves – to go the extra mile to recover from the imperfect times.  Even if it is finding a little fun in it.  A laugh or two, then three, then four.
